Job Description
Fully responsible for complete project management, supervision and MEP Maintenance.
Trouble shooting and maintaining all kinds of Mechanical & Electrical equipment’s &systems such as HVAC (Chillers, package AC units, Cold Rooms, Refrigerators),plumbing, electrical, low current systems, generator, BMS and other MEP equipment’s.
Analyze Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering problems and formulate solutions.
The candidates must have thorough knowledge of routine PPM, Troubleshooting &Breakdown Activities.
Log and post all MEP changes and as-built information on field drawings.
Prepare and review mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP)designs for effectiveness and efficiency.
Prepare and review costing (quotations, tenders, and B.O.Qs) for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects - as the need arises.
Monitor and control project cost estimates and ensure that the right specification inline with approved designs is deployed on the projects.
Review installation method statements.
Set up meetings to resolve specific site problems as required to minimize program delays.
Facilitate problem solving, as may arise, between MEP Subcontractors.
Direct, monitor and control the activities of MEP Subcontractor.
Coordination and administration of MEP related materials, systems and shop drawings submittals.
Liaison with Consultant MEP supervisory Engineers, Inspectors and relevant staff.
Ensure that MEP Subcontractors provides and adheres to relevant Quality documentation/records.
Ensure that MEP Subcontractors adheres to Project safety regulations.
Assist in the testing and commissioning of MEP equipment.
Mechanical Engineering Companies Achieve a detailed understanding of the Contract documents (drawings and specifications), phasing
plans, MEP systems interrelationships, construction sequencing and project schedule.
Witness on-site piped system pressure test, air conditioning duct leakage testing and other testing that may be required during the first fix works and advise the Project Director accordingly.
Be available to undertake off-site inspections of proposed equipment and materials as may be deemed necessary.
Prepare the MEP section of the Project Managers monthly progress report.
Qualifications/Skills
Hands-On experience in Maintenance of MEP Installations.
knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
Knowledge of ELV systems.
Knowledge of MEP maintenance, subcontracting, energy efficiency, performance contracting and commissioning.
Knowledge of Autocade, Revit, CAD Software’s.
High energy and action oriented with professional presence.
Knowledge of building systems, energy technologies, trade buildings and high-performance design.
Possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
Strong Team leadership and Management Skills.
Ability to work under pressure and flexibility to work long hours, if situation demands.
Ability to work in a collaborative and diverse team environment.
Must be well familiar with computer applications and capable of generating & presenting maintenance reports.Apply
